My husband and I live in Minnesota and enjoy hiking the Superior Hiking Trail. While we have hiked much of it, it is difficult to hike it inn to inn without hiking 15 or more miles. We are wanting to do a two day hike up in the Grand Marais area from Grand Marais to some motel/cabins on the trail (its 13 miles or so) where we stayed some years ago, but we can't remember the name of the motel. All the motels/cabins we can find are on highway 61 which is about 2 miles from the trail. Does anyone know the name of these cabins and if they are still in business? We would like to hike the 10-13 miles to these cabins and then the 10 miles to Nanaboujou Lodge and then home. Thank you.
