That is great that you are going to hike the Marin Coast Walkabout in March. It is an incredible hike along a beautiful stretch of the California coast stopping at interesting inns with great food. This should be an easy hike for you after your 500 mile trek in Europe.

We did a portion of the Marin Coast trip last March from San Francisco to Stinson Beach, and the wildflowers were at their peak. I highly recommend it.
