People have been using taxis, Lyft, or Uber to transport luggage. This seems to work well. It may be a problem in the mountains where these services are limited, but check with your innkeeper for ideas. Also, check out the "Transportation" section at the end of each chapter for information about how to return to your starting place when you have finished your walkabout. There are usually public transportation options and you will find contact info for taxi services.
