Mendocino 2 day hike

We are planning a last minute Mendocino trip.  We have found lodging at the Albion River Inn for our start, but the Little River Inn is booked and both Dennen's and Glendeven require a 2 night stay even during the week.  We are doing weekdays, no holidays.  There are other lodgings listed as being in Little River, does anyone know which ones might be close to where you exit Van Damme's Fern Canyon Trail besides the Little River Inn?

Thanks for any inside information on this...we prefer not to have to walk all the way into Mendocino Village the first day.

    Gail,

    Here are a few other Little River B&Bs.  I hope they might have a room for a late reservation and only require a one night stay.

    Cottages at Little River Cove  ~0.5 miles south of Fern Canyon Trail

    Inn at Cobbler's Walk ~ 0.4 miles north of Fern Canyon Trail.  This will shorten the second day.

    Inn at School House Creek ~ 0.8 miles south of Fern Canyon Trail

    Stevenswood Lodge ~ 0.3 miles north of Fern Canyon Trail

    I haven't personally checked these inns out, but they look pretty nice on line.  Good luck.  This is a beautiful inn-to-inn hike on an incredible coastline.
