Thank you Tom! My friends and I just finished the trek from Half Moon Bay to SF. ( We did it in reverse)  We stayed at the Half Moon Bay Inn the first night, which was fabulous. The Inn Keeper was welcoming and the rooms were clean, comfortable and charming.  We were even offered free wine! You can't beat that. The gorgeous walk along the California Coastal trail to the Montara Lighthouse hostel the next morning could not have been better. The weather was ideal - high 60's with some clouds. Then onto the Best Western in Pacifica and onto SF where we had a late lunch at the iconic Cliff House. We Ubered to the hostel at Fort Mason for 2 nights, enjoying the walks along the Embarcadero to the Ferry building and the streets of SF. At every step along the way we were inspired by the power and beauty of the pacific ocean.  

We added some extra miles the first couple days  and encountered very strong winds and high tides on the last day so we modified the walk a bit but it was WONDERFUL.    

Thank you so much for mapping these walks. Already, we are planning our next walkabout, just trying to decide which one. This may have been our 1st annual walkabout!
